ODORZX Inc. is actively seeking a currently sworn or recently retired law enforcement officer to provide essential off-duty support focused on incident documentation, police report coordination, and serving as a liaison with local, state, and federal agencies.
This position is primarily administrative and coordination-oriented, as it does not involve patrol or security enforcement duties. The selected officer will support leadership in navigating reporting requirements, jurisdictional communications, and documentation standards in the aftermath of operational incidents.
Scheduling & Availability
This is a per diem, on-call role. Work assignments are contingent upon business needs, incident activity, and individual availability.
- Officer must be available for on-call responses as needed.
- Assignments may require short notice and flexible hours.
- There are no guaranteed minimum hours per week or month.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, review, and filing of police reports and incident documentation.
- Coordinate and communicate with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies as necessary.
- Provide advice to internal leadership regarding jurisdictional procedures and reporting protocols.
- Support follow-up requests, supplemental reports, and inter-agency information exchanges.
- Travel to various company locations as required to assist with incident responses and coordination.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and maintain professional standards at all times.
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
- Must be a currently sworn or honorably retired law enforcement officer (local, state, or federal).
- Proven experience in incident reporting, investigations, and inter-agency coordination.
- Strong understanding of jurisdictional reporting processes and law enforcement procedures.
- Excellent ability to document facts clearly and communicate professionally with agencies and executives.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- High ethical standards and discretion are essential.
Important Clarifications
- This position does not grant arrest authority or enforcement powers beyond the officer’s current legal status.
- No uniformed patrol, armed security, or on-scene enforcement duties are implied unless separately authorized.
- All work must be in compliance with the officer’s agency policies regarding off-duty employment.
Preferred Experience
- Background in investigations, report review, or administrative supervision.
- Experience in coordinating multi-jurisdictional or cross-agency matters.
- Corporate or private-sector liaison experience.
