Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Role
Fire is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the senior management team in Dublin. This position reports directly to the CEO and plays a central role in shaping the company’s financial strategy in a growth-focused setting.
The CFO will take on PCF 11 (Head of Finance) and PCF 56 (Head of Safeguarding) responsibilities, subject to regulatory approval. This is a strong fit for candidates aiming to step into a PCF role for the first time.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Control: Oversee and improve financial operations through an outsourced accounting function. Ensure timely, accurate management accounts and delivery of key performance metrics.
- Business Planning: Build and maintain a business planning framework, including regular forecasting and stress testing.
- MIS and Insights: Produce regular and ad hoc management information and commercial insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Treasury Management: Manage cash flow and enforce strong controls over banking, payables, receivables, and interest income.
- Tax Compliance: Maintain appropriate financial structures and ensure compliance with all tax obligations.
- Audit Leadership: Lead the annual financial audit and support other audits or external evaluations as needed.
- Legal Oversight: Finalize legal documentation, including new and renewal contracts, and supervise commercial and corporate agreements.
- Human Resources Management: Oversee HR by setting recruitment policies, development programs, and frameworks for talent management.
