Join Focus Ireland as a Compensation and Benefits Specialist!Location: Dublin, HybridContract: Full Time, Specific Purpose ContractThe primary objective of this role is to become an integral part of the HR Team, embodying the core values of Focus Ireland and contributing to our mission and strategic vision.Your Responsibilities:Act as the primary contact for all payroll, compensation, and benefits-related inquiries, offering timely assistance and support to People Managers and staff.Collaborate with Finance and People Managers to ensure accurate tracking, recording, and processing of payroll information for weekly and monthly payroll cycles within established deadlines.Coordinate with the Finance Payroll Officer to ensure all employees are correctly integrated into the Time & Attendance system (SoftWorks or equivalent).Generate precise payroll and compensation & benefits reports, including HR Board report inputs, monthly C&B Key Risk Indicators, employee data from SoftWorks/HRIS, sick absence reports, and parental leave arrangements.Oversee the dedicated payroll inbox, ensuring all queries are addressed promptly and professionally.Handle comprehensive pension administration, including onboarding new pension members, liaising with Finance and the pension provider, and preparing reports for pension renewals, Death in Service renewals, and quarterly audits.Organize pension information sessions and individual consultations with Focus Ireland’s pension provider.Monitor all protective leaves (sick leave, family leave, leave of absence), ensuring compliance with internal policies and legislation, while providing guidance to employees and People Managers.Assist in delivering HR workshops and refresher training on payroll processes, compensation and benefits, and protective leave for both new and existing People Managers.Lead the HR process for annual organizational salary increments and contribute to broader benchmarking, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.Foster strong working relationships throughout the organization, advocating for best practices, supporting change, and participating in working groups, L&D programs, and other assigned tasks.Champion and uphold Focus Ireland’s values, while maintaining awareness of Health & Safety risks, demonstrating flexibility in working hours, and adapting to organizational changes and service needs.
