This position is part of a well-established Transportation engineering team and involves collaboration with various transportation clients and projects. In this role, you will take the lead in managing project teams, contributing to the planning and design of infrastructure projects, and playing a key role in fostering client relationships. Your responsibilities will include providing design support for projects ranging from roadways and driveways to sidewalks, traffic management, drainage solutions, pavement markings, and roadway scoping. You will work closely with disciplines such as hydraulics, traffic, structures, and environmental to develop comprehensive turnkey projects.Work EnvironmentThis position offers a flexible work schedule, with three days in the East Lansing, MI office and two days remotely.Your ImpactCollaborate with local management to strategize and implement project pursuits and delivery efforts.Develop and execute strategies for capturing project opportunities, including team arrangements and strategic positioning, while identifying necessary staff resources for successful project acquisition and delivery.Build and nurture relationships with both external and internal clients.Supervise and guide staff to facilitate smooth design and plan development processes.
