About the job
Are you a mechanical engineer who thrives on practical challenges rather than just sitting behind a desk? Do you get energized by designing robust buckets, booms, boom extensions, and other heavy-duty constructions, and enjoy visiting client sites to see how your ideas make an impact?
Then we are looking for you!
What will you do?
As a Mechanical Engineer - Heavy Equipment, you will tackle exciting custom solutions for loaders, excavators, and other heavy machinery. You will be responsible for the entire engineering process: from problem exploration to design and handover to production.

- Creating 3D designs (Solid Edge) and producing detailed drawings for production.
- Conducting strength and load checks (FEM or manual calculations).
- Visiting clients on-site to assess machines and collaborate on technical solutions.
- Translating practical needs into smart, safe, and manufacturable designs.
- Collaborating closely with preparation teams, welders, and production: see your designs come to life.
- Managing projects from start to finish with significant freedom in technical decisions.
Why this job is unique:
- You design for real-world applications: your constructions are intensively used in construction, earthmoving, and industry.
- You witness your solutions in action on large machinery.
- You work on projects involving strength, mass, steel, wear layers, and serious loads , true engineering.
- There is a mix of office work, workshop tasks, and client visits.
