POSITION OBJECTIVE:Under the guidance of the Design Manager, the Design Management Architect will oversee daily project activities, ensuring seamless internal and external coordination and communication. The successful candidate will uphold project objectives while guaranteeing precision and the highest quality in technical performance, adherence to timelines, and budget management.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Collaborate with the Development Management and Development Controls teams during project initiation, scheduling, and specifications acquisition phases.Assist in managing outsourced consultants and architects to conceive innovative architectural concepts, designs, and project plans.Support the development of initial action plans and design schedules for upcoming projects.Gather essential data for the outsourced consultant’s design process from project kick-off to completion.Prepare analytical reports, technical studies, and area breakdowns for projects.Contribute to the preparation of design management documents that fall outside the outsourced consultants’ scope, including requests for proposals (RFP), terms of reference (TOR), and project breakdowns (components & areas schedules).Assist in compiling periodic design progress reports.Help coordinate the project review process with external consultants alongside the Design Manager.Participate in design progress meetings with consultants and suppliers as required.Create graphic and narrative reports on project sites and land planning.Review design documents submitted by outsourced consultants in AutoCAD or Revit.Maintain design plan documentation such as finish schedules, specifications, product/room matrices, templates, schedules, and all related project documentation in both hard copy and electronic formats.Guide new team members (Junior Architects) to integrate smoothly into the company culture and mentor them in their responsibilities.Assist the Architecture Design Manager in providing junior architects with support and training to enhance their design skills and industry knowledge.
