Role overview
The Systems Engineer III - ISR role sits within the Engineering group and reports to the VP of Engineering. This position focuses on building signals intelligence (SIGINT) systems that play a key part in defense and space operations. Work spans software and hardware implementation, testing, and documentation, all with a direct connection to national security outcomes.
What you will do
- Develop technical requirements, system architecture, design, integration, and testing for ISR systems.
- Conduct technical trade studies to assess ISR system options.
- Create and implement risk management and mitigation strategies for complex systems.
- Contribute to proposal development, factoring in technical performance, cost, and scheduling.
- Apply systems engineering principles to requirements development, segmentation, flow-down, verification, and validation.
- Work as a technical contributor alongside systems and software engineering teams on multiple projects.
- Offer technical input on decisions involving:
- Digital signal processing and software architecture
- Software and hardware requirements and design
- Detailed hardware design and implementation
