Keeley Construction is actively seeking a seasoned Concrete Carpenter to enhance our construction team, focusing primarily on striping capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Striping (Core Focus):
- Extensive striping experience is a fundamental requirement for this position.
- Operate striping machinery to deliver high-quality striping projects safely and effectively.
- Conduct new layouts for parking lots, roadways, and various concrete/asphalt areas.
- Perform efficient restriping with precision and meticulous attention to detail.
- Assist in planning and organizing striping operations to adhere to project deadlines.
Concrete Carpentry Supports:
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to assess dimensions and materials for concrete formwork.
- Construct, erect, and repair concrete forms and structures using wood, metal, or alternative materials.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials to create accurate formwork for concrete pouring.
- Set forms for foundations, walls, columns, stairs, and additional concrete structures.
- Ensure correct alignment, leveling, and bracing of forms to meet specifications for stability.
- Install expansion joints and embedded items within concrete structures as specified.
- Dismantle formwork once concrete has cured sufficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment used in concrete carpentry and striping tasks.
- Evaluate completed formwork for quality, stability, and compliance with specifications.
- Apply curing compounds or conduct additional finishing tasks for concrete as necessary.
