Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary cost management contact for clients and project stakeholders.
- Oversee pre- and post-contract responsibilities including cost estimates, procurement, contract administration, variations, and final accounts.
- Conduct feasibility studies and generate procurement reports.
- Develop and present detailed cost plans.
- Manage tendering and procurement activities including pre-qualification, tender lists, analysis, and contractual documentation.
- Ensure timely and accurate cost checks and valuations.
- Prepare and present monthly post-contract cost reports to clients.
- Engage with clients and consultants throughout all project stages.
- Contribute to post-contract cost variance discussions and change control processes.
- Execute cost risk analyses and provide insights for value engineering; negotiate and finalize accounts.
- Maintain a centralized database for feedback on cost estimating and contribute to the improvement of best practices.
