Manage the server lifecycle: hardware selection, vendor coordination, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning. Administer HPC clusters, storage systems, and high-speed networks; automate server provisioning with PXE/HTTP boot, scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python), and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet). Administer Linux and Windows server environments, including OS deployment, patching, and performance optimization. Deploy, maintain, and monitor campus network infrastructure (switching, routing, wireless, NAC); respond to incidents to maximize uptime. Plan and coordinate maintenance windows, upgrades, and expansions; maintain 24/7 on-call availability. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PII handling requirements, and cybersecurity standards (ISO, NIST). Create and maintain documentation such as network topology, systems design, runbooks, and SOPs.
