Join us in making a difference!Key Responsibilities:- Oversee pacemaker-dependent and cardiac patients during MRI procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.- Evaluate EKG readings to identify arrhythmias and other cardiac irregularities.- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, effectively responding to emergencies and adverse reactions.- Initiate IVs, administer prescribed medications, and manage contrast reactions according to clinical guidelines.- Assist with patient check-ins, exam reviews, procedure preparations, and provide patient education.- Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient care delivery.- Accurately document all findings, assessments, and interventions in the electronic medical record (EMR).- Uphold HIPAA regulations and all organizational policies regarding patient confidentiality and safety.- Exhibit critical thinking, adaptability, and sound clinical judgment in a fast-paced outpatient setting.- Engage in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.Qualifications:- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.- Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.- Additional certifications in cardiac monitoring, radiology nursing, or IV therapy are highly desirable.- At least 2 years of nursing experience, ideally in acute care, radiology, or outpatient settings.- Required experience in EKG monitoring and IV therapy.
