Supervisory responsibilities Provide daily direction, coaching, mentorship, and technical support to field service technicians. Key responsibilities Lead and coordinate start-up and commissioning activities for electrical equipment at multiple customer sites, resolving issues and keeping projects on schedule. Mentor and train field service technicians on a daily basis. Act as the technical authority, offering product expertise and advanced troubleshooting support to technicians and engineers. Travel to IEM manufacturing or field service locations for training, factory witness testing, and shop evaluation as needed. Identify project risks that could affect technician success, and report findings to management. Engage directly at job sites to support project start-up and commissioning, working with IEM Project Managers to address punch list items and ensure deliverables are met. Collaborate with commercial and administrative teams for requests beyond start-up or commissioning scopes. Ensure technicians have the necessary tools, materials, and documentation for effective work at each site. Report product or quality issues to management, coordinating with production and engineering teams to resolve deficiencies. Work with the Division Manager, Field Service Manager, and Site Operations Representative to schedule additional field resources as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
