As a rapidly growing digital technology company, Xometry is disrupting the manufacturing landscape. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to facilitate our swift customer expansion. In this dynamic role, you will leverage your passion, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills to enhance mechanical solutions from initial concept through to full-rate production within Quality Assurance. The ideal candidate will collaborate with DFM Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Case Management, and our Supply Chain Partner Network, demonstrating exceptional communication skills within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team setting.
Your typical day will include leading various quality-centric activities both virtually and onsite, spanning from concept through to full-rate production at Xometry and its partner network. With your experience, you will engage cross-functionally with internal and external teams to minimize supplier nonconformities by spearheading root cause analyses (RCAs) aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction through systematic methodologies in Gaithersburg. You will also oversee internal, customer, and certification audits alongside our Quality Management System (QMS) library, support customer growth by managing customer surveys, and handle internal corrective actions as well as the Material Review Board (MRB). This position requires close collaboration with Case Management, Partner Support, and remote Quality Engineering, where you will act as an onsite quality expert to ensure swift turnaround times.
