Join our dynamic team as a Production Manager at Direct Mortgage Loans, where your expertise will be crucial in supporting our Loan Originators throughout the entire loan lifecycle. In this role, you will meticulously manage loan files from the initial application stage all the way through to submission, ensuring that every detail is accurate, compliant, and conducive to a seamless borrower experience. The ideal candidate is not only highly organized and communicative but also has substantial experience in the mortgage operations field.Key ResponsibilitiesThoroughly prepare and review loan applications while maintaining, organizing, filing, and managing all documentation pertaining to mortgage applications, real estate collateral, and insurance policies.Conduct loan scenario analyses, AUS reviews, and assist in pre-approvals.Respond to inquiries and fulfill document requests from clients, realtors, and internal teams.Order and diligently track third-party services, including appraisals, title checks, verifications, and transcripts.Ensure the accuracy of all file data, including income, assets, and insurance documentation.Notify underwriters, Loan Originators, clients, or other staff members about any missing records or discrepancies in the mortgage application process.Review the 1003 form to update based on ordered services.Examine Mortgage Insurance and re-run AUS following reviews for Underwriting.Follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely submission.Prepare files for re-submission for Clear to Close (CTC).Document milestone comments as needed.Take accountability for turnaround times and the completion of files for closing.Undertake additional duties as assigned.QualificationsDemonstrated strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.A proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges.Exceptional communication and customer service skills.A solid understanding of the mortgage loan process is essential.Experience with Encompass or similar mortgage processing systems is preferred.Education & ExperienceA high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s degree is preferred.A minimum of 3 years of mortgage, lending, or related administrative experience, particularly in the processing area.Prior experience in mortgage processing is mandatory.Work EnvironmentThis position involves prolonged periods of sitting and extensive computer work.Compensation & Benefits: $17.31 per hour plus a $550 bonus for each file processed.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance options are available, as well as supplemental benefits such as life insurance.
