ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Client Finance Manager will oversee the financial health of designated client projects, particularly focusing on complex creative initiatives and collaborative engagements. This position demands close collaboration with client partners and delivery teams to ensure accurate forecasts, realistic budgets, and aligned project deliveries with financial objectives. The ideal candidate will possess substantial expertise in forecasting, reporting, invoicing, and reconciling budgets and timesheets, coupled with a keen ability to analyze data, identify risks early, and communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making and sustainable profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a strategic financial partner to Client teams and Finance leadership, fostering sound financial management and decisions driven by data.
- Develop monthly forecasts and annual budget plans, taking ownership of revenue and expense allocations, under the guidance of the Director and VP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to formulate strategies that promote profitable growth.
- Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and journal entries while addressing any discrepancies for resolution in the subsequent month.
- Prepare financial reports including month-end summaries and variance analyses, suggesting enhancements where necessary.
- Analyze outcomes and effectively respond to inquiries from Finance and Senior Leadership concerning key drivers affecting the P&L.
CLIENT FINANCE TASKS:
- Engage with various teams to ensure financial objectives are met and communicated clearly.
- Support the development of financial strategies that enhance profitability and efficiency across projects.
