As the Automotive Service Manager, you will lead our dynamic service department, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers while fostering a culture of excellence among our technicians, service advisors, and support staff. Your leadership will drive the department's success through effective forecasting, strategic collaboration, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities within the service department, including technicians, service advisors, the service call center, valet, detailers, and service lane operations.
- Set and strive to meet departmental goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the Parts Manager for timely procurement of parts necessary for service operations.
- Work closely with the shop foreman to ensure vehicles are serviced efficiently and to high standards.
- Lead departmental meetings and attend management meetings to align with overall company goals.
- Prepare and manage the annual operating budget for the service department.
- Address and resolve customer complaints to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Inspire, train, and develop team members while recognizing their contributions.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding maintenance and service needs.
- Uphold and promote the company’s values, quality standards, and integrity.
