DOF combines advanced technology with industry expertise to support complex projects. Role Overview: Senior Surveyor DOF Canada is seeking a Senior Surveyor based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This position plays a key role in bridging offshore and onshore teams, reporting directly to the Project Manager. The Senior Surveyor will support multi-year international and local projects, with rotations typically lasting 4 to 6 weeks. The survey team is expanding to meet growing project demands. What You Will Do Supervise calibration and testing of survey equipment and software before projects begin. Coordinate mobilization of survey equipment and software on vessels. Maintain a detailed understanding of data flow from calibration at mobilization through logging and quality control. Assist with developing project procedures and preparation activities. Manage daily field operations to ensure data quality and accuracy meet contractual requirements. Ensure all survey equipment is calibrated, with up-to-date documentation and adherence to calibration procedures. Uphold data collection standards in line with recognized survey practices and approved guidelines. Oversee project work scope offshore, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Provide guidance and supervision to the offshore survey team. Location This role is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The survey team also supports the expanding office in Paradise, NL.
