In this pivotal role, you will spearhead client engagements across various workstreams, collaborating closely with senior client leaders and the FTSG team to tackle challenges that require foresight, creativity, and sharp analytical skills. Your responsibility will include facilitating decision-making, synthesizing critical insights, and delivering strategic recommendations that will influence long-term direction and immediate action.
Your Responsibilities
The Consulting Manager is instrumental in leading client engagements, integrating strategic foresight into business decisions, and mentoring team members. This position marries client-facing leadership, project orchestration, and methodological rigor to produce significant strategic results.
Client Leadership & Facilitation
- Present strategic recommendations to senior clients and facilitate effective decision-making.
- Conduct workshops, facilitate discussions, and engage in executive storytelling to promote alignment and insight.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, tailoring messages for diverse audiences.
- Represent FTSG at selected conferences or internal large-group sessions.
Project Management & Delivery
- Oversee complex projects, ensuring meticulous management of plans, timelines, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
- Guarantee quality assurance and consistency in all client deliverables.
Methodology & Strategic Foresight
- Refine and enhance foresight methodologies; incorporate scenario planning and advanced foresight analytics into projects.
- Advise clients on uncertainty, risk, and competitive advantage, translating foresight into actionable business strategies.
Team Leadership, Development, and Knowledge Management
- Lead small teams while mentoring junior staff in foresight and strategic thinking.
- Facilitate performance management through constructive feedback, coaching, and development planning.
- Foster a culture of learning within the team by exemplifying analytical depth and curiosity.
- Document insights, frameworks, and lessons learned to enhance internal intellectual property and knowledge sharing.
- Develop and deliver internal training resources to bolster foresight capabilities across the organization.
