Role overview The Receiving Specialist manages inbound materials at the Hawthorne, California facility. This role ensures accurate receiving, inspection, and documentation of all warehouse intake. Acting as the main control point, the specialist tracks supplier delivery quality and maintains traceability of materials. What you will do Receiving Execution: Process incoming shipments using ERP or WMS systems. Complete a 3-way match (Purchase Order, packing slip, and physical receipt) and enter transactions promptly and accurately. Inspection & Traceability: Inspect shipments for correct quantity, condition, and documentation. Record certifications, packing slips, and traceability details, including lot or serial numbers when required. Identify and escalate nonconforming materials. Scanning & Documentation: Use barcode scanning tools for intake and tracking. Maintain accurate digital records for all received items. Warehouse Management & Visual Controls: Oversee inbound staging, putaway, and warehouse organization. Maintain clear locations, labeling, and flow paths to support efficient dock-to-stock movement. Metrics & Performance: Contribute to performance tracking and continuous improvement of receiving operations.
