About the Role Highwood USA is hiring a Profile Technician / Machine Operator for the 1st shift at our Hometown facility. This position plays a key part in producing order-specific profiles, from handling raw materials through to packaging finished products. The work involves both hands-on machine operation and quality assurance, supporting smooth production and shipment. Main Responsibilities Supply production lines with correct materials and quantities. Start up lines and equipment efficiently and on schedule. Operate profile and compound lines following established procedures. Perform color and tool changeovers as needed. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications. Adjust lines to match customer requirements, balancing quality and productivity. Carry out daily and weekly preventive maintenance on equipment. Handle basic repairs and part replacements. Participate in continuous improvement teams and initiatives. Accurately document production data, scrap, and run conditions. Use basic computer skills for operational tasks. Operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as they arise. Package, band, and wrap finished products for shipping. Keep the work area clean and organized.
