The Houston office of SWA Group is on the lookout for a talented Landscape Architect with 5-7 years of professional experience and a keen interest in project management. This role encompasses the complete lifecycle of master planned community projects, focusing on everything from conceptual design through to construction, with a particular emphasis on overseeing design management, production schedules, and budget adherence. The ideal candidate will possess a harmonious blend of innovative design thinking and exceptional organizational abilities, enabling them to effectively lead project teams, engage with clients, and ensure successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Oversee comprehensive project management, including design, production, scheduling, and budgeting for expansive residential community projects.Provide daily mentorship to production staff, ensuring quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) for construction documents and design outputs.Foster clear and effective communication with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities, maintaining alignment at every stage of the project.Coordinate with both internal and external project teams, including engineers, architects, and specialized consultants.Assist construction administration teams during bidding processes, responses to RFIs, and clarifying construction documentation.Create high-quality graphic presentations and technical documentation to effectively convey design intentions.Ensure compliance of all designs with relevant codes, local regulations, and industry standards.
