The Role
In this pivotal position, you will engage in testing and demonstrating UAS platforms at various stages of their development. Your expertise will be crucial in field testing and operating UAS, where you will assist in creating field exercise plans, executing test and operational procedures, and conducting thorough pre- and post-operations reviews. Our operations span both domestic and international locations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in fabrication, conduct post-manufacturing flight acceptance, and manage preflight processes
Maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to aircraft subsystems and integration
Develop and uphold documentation pertaining to flight acceptance, maintenance, and operational procedures
Execute flight operations in collaboration with other field operations team members in both international and domestic settings
Capture and report significant engineering and business development insights
Basic Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in field operations for autonomous systems
Familiarity with mission planning software (QGroundControl or Mission Planner)
Experience working with Ardupilot or PX4
Proven ability in operational troubleshooting in the field
Experience with international field operations
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications
Possession of a Part 107 UAS License
Proficiency in various software and tools related to UAS operations
