Position Overview: As a Logistics Analyst II, you will provide essential program management support and strategic recommendations for Army Foreign Military Sales (FMS) systems. Your role will involve integrating data based on customer requirements and adhering to USASAC program policies and procedures while utilizing programmatic and logistics data from FMS Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis, detailed planning, and execution of all logistics support, including material goods, personnel, operational maintenance, and system repairs throughout their lifecycle.
- Perform feasibility analysis, logistics planning, requirements determination, and development of policy standards and procedures to support logistics initiatives.
- Leverage your organizational, leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills to enhance demand planning and transportation efficiency.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of six (6) years of relevant technical or logistical experience.
- Proven experience in logistics support planning, material fielding, or sustainment support for systems, major end items, or maintenance organizations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Contract Management, Business Law, Economics, Strategic Studies, Foreign Policy, International Studies, Political Science, Liberal Arts, Education, or related fields.
- Active Secret Clearance is mandatory.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with the US Army Security Assistance enterprise, particularly in Foreign Military Sales (FMS) activities, is highly preferred.
- Previous experience as a US Army Logistician or Army Foreign Area Officer is advantageous.
