Position: School Bus DriverReports to: Transportation Associate/ManagerStart Date: Immediate or Mid-July for training ahead of the school year starting in August.Position Overview:KIPP Jacksonville is actively seeking dedicated school bus drivers to safely transport students to and from school on established routes.Key Responsibilities:Perform thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.Drive designated bus routes, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of students at established stops.Conduct post-trip inspections to confirm that all passengers have exited the bus.Participate in monthly safety meetings aimed at enhancing driving skills and student management practices.Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the bus to promote a positive school image.As needed, undertake field trip runs to transport students and other passengers to various destinations.Fulfill additional duties as required.Compensation:The pay rate begins at $22 per hour, with adjustments based on verified years of experience driving a school bus. In addition to regular routes, numerous opportunities for extra work, including extracurricular activities such as field trips, are available. Annual safety incentives are also provided.Anticipated Hours:For reference, start times for school routes are likely around 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM, with afternoon routes from 3:15 PM - 5:15 PM, Monday through Friday. Note that on early release days every Wednesday, students dismiss at 1:30 PM, making Wednesday afternoon routes run from 1:15 PM - 3:15 PM.*Subject to change

POSITION OVERVIEW KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools is seeking dedicated and passionate middle school teachers for our classrooms serving grades five through eight for the 2026-2027 academic year.As a lead teacher, you will be assigned to one grade level, responsible for fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment, implementing a comprehensive curriculum, assessing student performance, collaborating with fellow educators, and building strong relationships with families. Additional responsibilities will be determined by your Principal.OUR CURRENT MODELEach grade level consists of four homeroom teachers, each specializing in a core subject area. For instance, on the sixth grade team, each educator teaches their assigned subject to all students in that grade. Class sizes typically average around 26 students.Core subjects include English Language Arts, Social Studies, Mathematics, and Science. Please indicate your preferred grade levels and subject areas in your application. Relevant teaching certifications should also be included.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThe starting salary for a first-year lead teacher is $50,000.Access to individual health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision.Individual short-term and long-term disability insurance.Participation in a 403(b) retirement plan with company matching.All lead teachers receive individualized coaching and professional development opportunities to enhance their teaching practice.Note: The salary stated does not include potential stipends.
