Position: School Bus DriverReports to: Transportation Associate/ManagerStart Date: Immediate or Mid-July for training ahead of the school year starting in August.Position Overview:KIPP Jacksonville is actively seeking dedicated school bus drivers to safely transport students to and from school on established routes.Key Responsibilities:Perform thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.Drive designated bus routes, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of students at established stops.Conduct post-trip inspections to confirm that all passengers have exited the bus.Participate in monthly safety meetings aimed at enhancing driving skills and student management practices.Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the bus to promote a positive school image.As needed, undertake field trip runs to transport students and other passengers to various destinations.Fulfill additional duties as required.Compensation:The pay rate begins at $22 per hour, with adjustments based on verified years of experience driving a school bus.
