About the job
Join zaintech as a Cloud Network Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing sophisticated multi-cloud and hybrid network infrastructures. This is a highly technical position focused on architecting robust connectivity solutions, enforcing network security protocols, and ensuring seamless, secure, and high-performance network operations across AWS, Azure, on-premises data centers, and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovative Multi-Cloud Architecture & Design: Spearhead the design of comprehensive multi-cloud network architectures that encompass AWS, Azure, and on-premises infrastructure, guaranteeing seamless connectivity, optimal routing, and high availability. Develop hybrid cloud connectivity solutions such as AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, and SD-WAN for enhanced disaster recovery and multi-region deployments.
- Cloud Networking Implementation: Deploy and manage vital cloud networking services, including AWS VPC/Transit Gateway and Azure Virtual WAN/ExpressRoute. Skillfully configure routing protocols (BGP, static routes) and oversee DNS architecture to optimize packet flow and ensure failover capabilities.
- VPN & Secure Connectivity: Design and implement site-to-site and point-to-site VPN solutions utilizing IPsec/IKEv2, prioritizing high availability, redundancy, and secure remote access for the workforce.
- Network Security Enhancement: Architect multi-layered defense strategies, including zero-trust models and micro-segmentation. Implement essential network security controls such as Security Groups, ACLs, WAF, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Enterprise & SDN Networking: Design and enhance Cisco-based infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls) alongside VMware NSX-based network virtualization. Automate network provisioning and configuration through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) to ensure consistent and repeatable processes.
- Performance Optimization & Operations: Conduct in-depth network performance analysis, capacity planning, and latency optimization. Implement network disaster recovery plans, conduct failover testing, and execute business continuity strategies.
