About the Role
The Systems Engineer collaborates closely with the Sales Team to eliminate technical barriers in the sales process.
Your responsibilities will include presenting Veeam's messaging to various decision-makers, including CXOs, chief architects, and IT managers. You will create compelling content and deliver engaging demonstrations to support Veeam's message in coordination with Channel Partners. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in channel training, equipping partners to independently position and resell our solutions. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven, technically proficient presales engineer with a proven track record of collaborating with sales and support teams to drive success.
In this customer-centric role, you will work closely with the field sales and channel departments, informing and engaging partners, resellers, and end users about our offerings. This position is as much about promoting Veeam enthusiastically as it is about providing exceptional technical support.
As an expert in our product suite, you will act consultatively and be regarded as a trusted advisor by sales, channel partners, and fellow systems engineers. You must possess strong influencing skills and be self-motivated to excel in this autonomous role.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver live presentations and demonstrations to customers
- Manage and implement Proof of Concepts (POCs) to successful technical closure
- Engage in lead generation activities, including events, webinars, and user groups
- Negotiate and understand customer and partner technical requirements
- Actively participate in virtualization community initiatives
- Assist with channel training and enablement
