Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to serve as the primary point of contact on a key client account, ensuring that the client's objectives are achieved through a high-quality cost management service.
*This position is based in Las Vegas and offers a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence during the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Deliver comprehensive cost planning, including the production and presentation of final cost plans.
- Collaborate with the design services team and general contractor to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Reconcile changes and assist the general contractor in ensuring data accuracy.
- Engage with the general contractor and owner project manager to gather status information for cost estimate updates.
- Compose written feedback for the general contractor’s submissions, including executive summaries.
- Coordinate various sources of cost information for discussions and supplier interactions.
- Drive engineering priorities based on cost implications.
- Proactively address scheduling issues with minimal supervision.
- Oversee cost checks and perform valuations on larger projects, ensuring timely and precise cost evaluation processes.
- Effectively participate in post-contract cost variances and change control procedures.
- Manage cost impact assessments, contingency management, and commitment tracking logs.
- Prepare funding data presentations and facilitate value engineering sessions with stakeholders.
- Develop cost plans and estimates through the design phase, delivering updated plans at key milestones.
- Provide commercial insights into design options and contribute to value engineering exercises.
- Review contractor and subcontractor pricing, leading negotiations to secure fair contract pricing on behalf of the client.
- Conduct quantity surveying, cost control, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure effective management of post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
