About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Computer Vision Engineer to become a vital member of our Machine Learning and Computer Vision team. This position is essential for the development of core technical components across a variety of robotics and aerospace projects.
Responsibilities
Research & Data Preparation:
Conduct thorough research on cutting-edge Computer Vision techniques, and assist in the creation and management of training and validation datasets.
Perform statistical analyses and design visualization tools to guarantee data integrity.
Algorithm Development & Optimization:
Construct and optimize training pipelines and metrics aimed at improving model performance.
Develop and enhance Computer Vision algorithms for various robotics and aerospace projects.
Deployment & Integration: Implement ML/CV models into production-ready environments, ensuring smooth integration with Harmattan AI’s systems while conducting thorough code reviews.
Validation & Monitoring: Test algorithms in real-world scenarios and develop monitoring tools. Continuously track model performance and refine deployed solutions.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with software and simulation teams to ensure development aligns with system requirements, effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
Educational Background: A degree from a prestigious engineering institution or university (Master’s in Computer Science or related field; PhD preferred).
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Python and C++ with a strong foundation in machine learning and computer vision frameworks.
