As a Maintenance Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing a diverse range of functions including the installation, repair, and modification of equipment essential for the generation, distribution, or usage of electric energy within our manufacturing facility. You will lead a team, ensuring efficient operations and a safe working environment.Key Objectives and Responsibilities:Coordinate and execute emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during operations, as well as perform scheduled maintenance during machine service periods.Prepare and set up machinery for upcoming production runs to ensure a seamless workflow.Delegate work orders to maintenance team members to ensure timely maintenance and service completion.Implement and enforce safety protocols for working with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.Manage complex technical projects, including evaluations and installations of new machines.Continuously assess the condition of machinery and facilities, making recommendations for enhancements and upgrades.Review maintenance logs to confirm the timely completion of tasks.Collaborate with plant leadership to identify significant repairs or equipment additions needed within the facility.Foster a culture of continuous improvement in your work area.Adhere to OSHA safety and health regulations.Recruit, supervise, evaluate, and replace staff as necessary to achieve performance objectives.Develop and mentor employees for increased responsibilities, conduct regular evaluations, and hold daily safety and production meetings.Quickly address urgent maintenance issues, even if it disrupts regular workflows.Apply comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and processes.Identify and rectify unsafe practices in accordance with established policies and historical precedence.Provide coaching and corrective feedback to team members as required.Support the company's overarching goals related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost-efficiency.Work closely with production departments to ensure timely completion of work orders.Perform additional duties as assigned.
