Technical Data Lead

Credicorp Capital invites you to transform challenges into opportunities and become our next Technical Data Lead for the Center of Excellence in Data and Analytics, located in Lima, Peru.Mission:You will be accountable for the technical execution of data projects, encompassing everything from requirements analysis to the design of data models and transformations. You will lead engineering teams, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices for the successful delivery of every initiative.Key Responsibilities:Encourage the adoption of guidelines, technologies, and standards for Data and Analytics solutions.Design and develop ETL/ELT processes for both structured and unstructured data.Implement scalable and reliable data processes following best development practices.Engage in planning and executing solutions throughout the data project lifecycle.Monitor project task progress, identifying risks and areas for improvement.Select and train data engineers based on business needs.Manage the data engineering team and the relationship with suppliers within the operational model.Qualifications:University degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science.At least 1 year of experience in cloud data integration development, specifically with Azure and DataBricks.A minimum of 2 years as a technical lead in Data projects.Over 3 years of experience with various relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL), analytical databases (Redshift, BigQuery), NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), and different file formats (Avro, Parquet).Proven experience in data modeling.Relevant courses or diplomas in Data and Analytics.Familiarity with Scrum Master or Agile Practices (desirable).Knowledge of Data Vault 2.0 (desirable).Intermediate proficiency in PySpark, Python, R, or Scala.Understanding of CI/CD / Data Ops best practices.Experience with automated testing best practices.Knowledge of best practices and experience in tuning and optimizing processes.Awareness of development standards and practices.Other Skills:Analytical skills for problem-solving.Design of complex data integration solutions.Effective communication skills (clear, simple, and efficient).Planning capabilities.Desirable experience in...
