As a Production Network Engineer at Inetum, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation, performance, and security of network infrastructures for multiple clients within our shared services team. You will manage and maintain LAN/WAN, datacenter, and security components in a 24/7 production environment, addressing complex incidents (L2/L3) and executing changes and upgrades to enhance service delivery. Key Responsibilities:Operations & Monitoring: Oversee the effective functioning of LAN/WAN/WLAN, datacenter networks, and customer interconnections. Monitor network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and load balancers, managing alerts through diagnosis, prioritization, resolution, or escalation.Incident Management (L2/L3): Take the lead on complex incidents, performing advanced troubleshooting using logs, packet captures, and traces. Communicate progress to internal teams and clients while contributing to the reduction of recurring incidents through preventive measures and root cause analysis.Changes & Projects: Prepare, validate, and implement network changes such as upgrades, migrations, and patching. Produce thorough change documentation and participate in architecture evolution projects, executing high-impact interventions, often outside of regular business hours.On-call & Out-of-hours Support: Provide 24/7 on-call support in rotation, responding to critical incidents to ensure service continuity and adherence to SLA requirements.Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Maintain technical documentation and runbooks, foster knowledge sharing, and contribute to process improvement, automation, standardization, and optimization of infrastructure for enhanced performance, resilience, and security.
