Your Responsibilities
As a Forward Deployed Security Engineer (AI Systems) at Supermodular AI, you will collaborate with enterprise IT and software teams to ensure the secure, reliable, and safe operation of AI systems in production settings.
You will be integrated within real enterprise environments, partnering with engineers and technical leaders to assess current system operations, identify weaknesses, and understand how AI can impact the risk landscape.
Your responsibilities will involve navigating complex and often imperfect system architectures, pinpointing vulnerabilities, creating secure frameworks, and fortifying systems that may not have been initially designed with AI considerations in mind.
Your engagement will encompass the complete lifecycle of projects. You will contribute to early-stage technical strategies, embed security and reliability into system designs, and implement necessary safeguards to ensure systems function effectively under real-world conditions.
Many of the environments you will encounter may lack cleanliness and completeness; systems could be poorly integrated or designed without security in focus. Your mission will be to introduce structure and resilience to these settings by building and securing systems capable of safe operation in challenging circumstances.
