Join CUR8 as a Back-end Engineer
At CUR8, we are on a transformative mission to reshape the carbon removal landscape. With the pressing need to eliminate 5-10 Gigatonnes of CO₂ by 2050, our innovative platform empowers organizations worldwide to meet their carbon neutrality goals.
As part of our dedicated Risk Engine squad, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and refining high-quality carbon removal projects, ensuring our clients have access to reliable insights and data.
Your collaboration with our Lead Software Engineer, Senior AI Engineer, and scientists will be vital in converting scientific criteria into robust, scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Application Logic: Craft the code that manages data flow, from document ingestion to model result handling.
- Translate Science into Code: Work closely with Carbon Scientists to understand project criteria and develop corresponding code logic.
- Manage Unstructured Data: Create systems that can transform complex real-world inputs into structured, actionable data.
- Deliver Insights: Design APIs and data structures that present findings to customers in an intuitive user interface.

While expertise in both Go and Python is not essential, a willingness to engage with both is necessary.
Your Technical Expertise
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in building and maintaining backend software.
- Language Proficiency: Comfortable with a statically typed language (preferably Go).
