ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in air conditioning systems to conduct reactive fault diagnostics and installations that align with our company’s core services. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Comprehensive commissioning and servicing of HVAC equipment, chillers, and associated air handling units.
- Assisting with warranty repairs when necessary.
- Generating reports and information sheets in compliance with the company’s quality standards to communicate the quality and performance of installations.
- Collaborating with contract staff to ensure alignment with agreed contract terms.
- Producing technical documentation related to non-commissioning tasks as needed.
- Upholding health and safety standards on-site, following method statements and risk assessments.
- Coordinating with contract managers for material deliveries and collections.
- Providing support with service, maintenance, and warranty tasks during sporadic commissioning workloads.
- Promoting the company’s after-sales service and maintenance divisions.
- Reporting site issues to the contract manager that may hinder contract completion or customer satisfaction.
- Performing additional tasks as required to meet company objectives. Note: This list is not exhaustive and may evolve over time.
- Flexibility to work across various sites with diverse clients.
- Participating in on-call duties for emergency site responses outside of regular hours.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately completing and submitting a weekly timesheet to your line manager.
- Submitting weekly expenses with all necessary receipts.
- Finalizing all required paperwork for customers on-site to facilitate timely invoicing.
- Providing detailed descriptions of any additional work needed on engineer’s worksheets.
- Completing minor works and installation certificates upon the conclusion of electrical installations or modifications.
- Contacting your line manager or office administrator at the end of each job for updates.
