The Role
Capco is on the lookout for a Senior Data Architect to spearhead and execute intricate data architecture projects for our Wealth & Asset Management clientele. In this pivotal consulting role, you will assist wealth managers, asset managers, and private banks in navigating extensive data transformation initiatives—crafting enterprise data strategies, designing target architectures, and developing scalable, cloud-based platforms that enhance advisor and client interactions, investment analytics, regulatory reporting, and operational efficacy.
In addition to client delivery, you will play a key role in advancing Capco’s Wealth & Asset Management data architecture offerings and thought leadership in contemporary cloud-native data ecosystems.
What You’ll Do
- Lead agile consulting projects, delivering cutting-edge data architecture and cloud transformation in Wealth & Asset Management.
- Define and implement scalable enterprise data strategies across various programs and business units.
- Design canonical WAM data domains and models (e.g., client/household, portfolio/account, holdings/transactions, instruments & pricing, performance, fees).
- Architect and deliver cloud-native data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) that empower advisor/client journeys and facilitate advanced investment analytics (risk, performance, reporting).
- Establish integration patterns across core WAM platforms (CRM/advisor, OMS/PMS, wealth back office, custody, market/reference data, reporting).
- Develop robust data quality, reconciliation, and control frameworks (e.g., holdings vs. books & records/AUM, pricing, corporate actions, fees/NAV).
- Drive master and reference data strategies (clients, instruments, counterparties, legal entities) in alignment with governance, metadata, privacy, and stewardship.
- Act as a subject matter expert, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value for senior stakeholders.
