Your Role:Join our dynamic Electrification & Power team as a Senior Rail Traction Power and Substation Engineer, where you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of rail projects that meet client expectations and industry standards.In this position, you will ensure accuracy in design and calculations, maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance with all relevant codes and standards. As part of a growing team, your contributions will span the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility studies to detailed design and construction support. You will also have the opportunity to engage with international projects.Key Responsibilities:Oversee technical delivery across key projects, operating at an Independent Checker level.Mentor and support the development of engineers within the team.Provide Expertise:Take charge of the technical oversight and delivery of design packages at various project stages, contributing to the growth of traction power and substation capabilities.Collaborate:Work closely with project managers to coordinate technical delivery, providing guidance to designers and junior engineers, and liaising with clients and stakeholders as necessary.Ensure Quality:Develop comprehensive design documentation, including calculations, reports, and specifications. Conduct independent technical checks to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.Anticipate:Perform site visits and surveys to inform design development. Review and develop project specifications for construction and provide design support during the construction phase, ensuring alignment with design intent.
