Our comprehensive services include case management for chronic health issues, preventive health screenings, urgent care, medication administration, reproductive health services, health education, and referrals for ongoing care.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to the overall administration and growth of the nursing program by directly supervising the Borough Nursing Directors (BNDs) and their teams, ensuring effective oversight across New York City.Assist in the planning, development, organization, and direction of the regional and District 75 nursing program staff across all boroughs.Help formulate, revise, and interpret policies and procedures related to nursing program development and performance of school-based staff.Implement training and educational programs for both new and existing office staff.Coordinate with BNDs to monitor staffing levels in schools during the academic year and summer, manage disciplinary procedures, and ensure proper training is conducted.Support payroll systems to ensure timely and accurate compensation for staff, including approving time for BNDs and coordinating approvals for regional staff as necessary.Actively participate as a core member of the central nursing leadership team, collaborating closely with other directors to develop and implement effective policies for quality care management for students citywide.Serve as the primary advisor to the Executive Director of Nursing on all nursing-related matters and may act as a liaison to other health programs and agencies in the absence of the Executive Director.
