Role overview This position covers both PCB layout and Altium component library management. Success depends on strong technical skills in schematic capture and layout, as well as a disciplined approach to data governance and part creation. Precision and attention to detail are critical for upholding design integrity and supporting large-scale manufacturing. What you will do Handle schematic capture and PCB layout for complex, high-reliability electronics, including multilayer, high-speed, mixed-signal, and power boards. Use constraint-driven layout methods, such as impedance control, differential routing (for example, Ethernet), and power integrity requirements. Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineers to ensure seamless integration of designs. Prepare and review fabrication and assembly drawings, stackups, and design notes. Support design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) reviews with fabrication and assembly vendors. Incorporate feedback from prototypes, testing, and manufacturing teams to improve designs. Maintain the Altium component library as the authoritative source for all PCB designs. Create and manage symbols, footprints, and 3D models according to internal standards.
