What you will do Handle schematic capture and PCB layout for complex, high-reliability electronics, including multilayer, high-speed, mixed-signal, and power boards. Use constraint-driven layout methods, such as impedance control, differential routing (for example, Ethernet), and power integrity requirements. Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineers to ensure seamless integration of designs. Prepare and review fabrication and assembly drawings, stackups, and design notes. Support design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) reviews with fabrication and assembly vendors. Incorporate feedback from prototypes, testing, and manufacturing teams to improve designs. Maintain the Altium component library as the authoritative source for all PCB designs. Create and manage symbols, footprints, and 3D models according to internal standards. Ensure all components have approved part numbers in PLM systems (such as Teamcenter), and set and enforce library standards, including naming conventions, parameter sets, and lifecycle status.
