Join our dynamic team at Coldquanta as a Senior Quality Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the integration and standardization of our quality systems and processes. This hands-on position is essential for bridging two key business units, fostering collaboration and ensuring quality excellence across our engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and software service domains.
In this role, you’ll be deeply involved in aligning product and quality data, establishing scalable systems, and building foundational programs from scratch. This is not just an administrative position; we seek a proactive individual who excels in both strategic and tactical aspects of quality engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Cross Business Unit Integration
- Serve as the primary quality interface among business units to standardize processes, data structures, and system usage.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and redundancies between teams to drive effective standardization efforts.
- Facilitate collaborative sessions to harmonize quality practices, documentation, and system workflows.
Product Structure & Configuration Management
- Own and maintain the processes that govern Bills of Material (BOMs), part numbers, and revision levels across integrated product lines.
- Implement configuration management best practices to ensure traceability, change control, and data accuracy throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), ensuring quality impacts are thoroughly assessed and implemented.
PLM / QMS Systems Execution
- Act as an internal subject matter expert for Arena PLM and QMS modules (or similar tools).
- Engage directly with software service providers to configure Nonconformance/CAPA modules and define workflows aligned to business needs.
- Translate business requirements into actionable system configurations.
Program Development & Ownership
- Design and implement foundational quality programs, including calibration programs, inspection, and supplier quality workflows.
- Create procedures, work instructions, and training materials to support program rollout.
- Ensure programs are scalable, auditable, and user-friendly for frontline teams, from prototypes to full-scale production.
