Role Overview
The Regional Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in driving profitable sales through the regional broker network, reporting directly to the Regional Vice President of Sales. This position is key in recruiting, training, and supporting independent health brokers who will represent Optimyl's offerings.
Note: This is a full-time in-office role, with the new Atlanta office opening date to be determined.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in 40+ outbound calls daily within the broker market.
- Promote awareness of Optimyl's product portfolio among brokers.
- Build and nurture relationships with target brokers, providing training on products, positioning, and processes.
- Evaluate broker performance and continuously recruit new brokers to enhance the organization.
- Identify potential brokers through referrals, references, and industry listings.
- Deliver exceptional support to broker partners throughout the quoting and underwriting processes.
- Assist brokers in developing effective selling strategies to attract potential employer clients.
- Maintain timely communication with brokers regarding product offerings, network changes, rate adjustments, and plan designs.
- Thoroughly understand the company's product portfolio to effectively represent it in the market.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure seamless service delivery to sold accounts.
- Provide feedback to the RVP on market receptivity and recommendations for product development.
- Meet daily activity metrics as established by the RVP.
- Document demographic information of groups and plan designs in the CRM for accurate reporting.
- Travel regionally as needed to strengthen key broker relationships and finalize major deals.
