Work schedule Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm EST or 9 am to 6 pm EST Key responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Handle and review bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and support for accounts payable and receivable Lead month-end close activities Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports Contribute to historical clean-up projects and process improvements Help develop and improve accounting procedures and standard operating playbooks Collaborate with internal leaders and clients in a professional manner Work with accounting tools such as QuickBooks Online and Ramp (experience with Bill.com is a plus) What Distro looks for Proactive, hands-on approach to accounting functions Comfort with both routine bookkeeping and higher-level financial oversight Interest in growing into controller-level duties as the firm expands Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability This position offers a long-term career path and the potential for future team leadership as Distro continues to grow.
