If you excel in dynamic, commercial settings and aspire to shape the future of a global brand, we want you on our team.We are in search of a Strategic Sales Manager to enhance our presence in Italy by onboarding key grocery and retail partners, serving as a consultant to foster their long-term success on our platform.Your ResponsibilitiesAs part of the Sales Grocery & Retail team, you will join a vibrant group of consultants dedicated to leveraging data-driven insights and industry expertise to unlock new revenue opportunities for our partners.Your daily tasks will include:Pitch and Close: Actively pursue and establish partnerships with leading grocery brands in Italy through a multi-channel strategy, including cold outreach, site visits, and direct meetings.Pipeline Management: Assume full responsibility for your sales funnel, managing a portfolio of leads to achieve high conversion rates and consistently surpass volume and quality objectives.End-to-End Negotiation: Navigate the complete sales process, crafting compelling offers that meet the needs of partners while aligning with Deliveroo’s business goals.Seamless Integration: Supervise the entire onboarding experience, from initial registration to operational launch and generating the first sales.Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with the broader commercial team on special projects, including pitch days, marketing initiatives, and cross-functional growth experiments.Qualifications for SuccessThe ideal candidate will possess substantial expertise in several of the following areas and a willingness to develop in others:
