The Team The Global Sourcing Management (GSM) team is tasked with defining and executing supplier strategies within Graphcore’s hardware and infrastructure landscape. This collaborative team works hand-in-hand with engineering, product, and supply chain units to cultivate long-term strategic partnerships that align with Graphcore’s technology roadmap and infrastructure expansion. Responsibilities and Duties Develop and manage the end-to-end sourcing strategy for networking technologies supporting Graphcore’s AI infrastructure. Formulate and implement multi-year supplier and commodity strategies in sync with engineering roadmaps. Lead high-level negotiations, including long-term supply agreements and capacity reservations. Influence supplier ecosystems and technology roadmaps in accordance with internal product strategies. Facilitate cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal teams. Create cost models and establish should-cost frameworks to enhance negotiation power. Guarantee supply continuity through strategic capacity planning and risk mitigation. Conduct executive supplier business reviews to assess performance and drive enhancements. Ensure commercial agreements safeguard Graphcore’s long-term strategic and operational interests.
