Your Role
As a Senior/Lead Software Data Engineer, you will be integral to the development of cutting-edge software tailored for superior road features, navigation, and high-definition mapping. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our dynamic, cross-functional, and passionate team.
In this position, you will:
Take ownership of, enhance, scale, and refine existing data processing pipelines.
Design and implement innovative data processing pipelines.
Gather and analyze performance metrics.
Contribute to discussions and the implementation of security best practices.
Key Qualifications
Proficient in at least one programming language (C++, Python, Scala, or Java).
Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, IAM, EMR, Glue, Athena, Kinesis) or other cloud platforms.
Strong command of SQL with a solid understanding of SQL engine fundamentals.
In-depth knowledge of distributed computing principles.
Familiarity with at least one workflow management tool like Airflow, Oozie, or Luigi.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to rationalize technical choices.
A creative, resourceful, and innovative approach to problem-solving.
Exceptional communication abilities in English, both written and verbal.
