Role overview
The Senior Software Engineer on the Core Branding Team will help build and maintain web products used by leading publishers, advertisers, and agencies. The work centers on delivering efficient, intuitive experiences for thousands of users, while meeting demanding standards for speed and reliability.
Key challenges
- Design and implement web products that handle high traffic and large-scale data, supporting 2.2 billion users monthly and processing 100 billion events daily.
- Work with Scala and TypeScript across a broad technology stack, focusing on system performance, scalability, resiliency, and cost efficiency.
- Meet strict requirements for low latency and high availability, handling up to 2 million requests per second with response times under 150 milliseconds.
- Support complex auction algorithms and predictive models, enabling millisecond-level access to large datasets (18 million predictions per second).
- Collaborate with product teams and adapt cloud infrastructure to enable new features and ongoing product improvements.
