Your role will ensure that we provide suitable device formats that operate reliably and are shipped cost-effectively across all regions.Key Responsibilities:Take full ownership of the hardware portfolio for the restaurant or retail sector: what we sell, where we sell it, and how it evolves over time (launch → scaling → lifecycle management → retirement).Define and execute a multi-quarter roadmap aligned with the overall hardware strategy, manage dependencies, and drive delivery towards measurable outcomes.Lead new initiatives through the complete lifecycle: discovery → PRD/requirements → supplier selection → validation/testing → launch → iteration and field support.Engage with merchants (owners, managers, staff) to identify workflow friction points and translate these insights into roadmap priorities.Ensure accountability for suppliers regarding features, quality, costs, and timelines, utilizing field signals (RMA/support tickets) to close the loop on corrective actions.Influence cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Hardware Operations, Support, GTM, Finance, and Legal) to execute flawless launches and enhance portfolio profitability.Your Qualifications:Over 5 years of experience as a product manager in a hardware or hardware-related SaaS environment (devices, peripherals, accessories), with at least 1-2 complete end-to-end launches.Proven mastery of the complete hardware lifecycle: Discovery → Requirements → Selection → Testing → Launch → Iteration → Retirement.Direct experience with workflows in the restaurant or retail sector, providing insights into operational challenges and solutions.
