Our team plays an integral role in the development and certification of the Reliable Robotics autonomy framework, contributing significantly to the operation of our aircraft.Key ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Flight Software Manager, you will lead and cultivate a team that is responsible for the safety-critical software that enables our aircraft to operate. You will be responsible for enhancing engineering processes, balancing immediate execution with formal DO-178C verification, and facilitating the rapid integration and testing of GNC algorithms, while architecting software for certification.You will provide expert technical and architectural direction on flight software components, including flight controls and redundancy management. Collaborating closely with leads across Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC), Avionics, Systems, and Hardware, you will develop and execute technical roadmaps, prioritize tasks, and empower your team to deliver robust, reliable, and certifiable flight software that enables advanced autonomy.
