This dynamic position entails close collaboration with engineers across our machine learning, controls, and hardware teams to develop essential components of our software stack for both research and product development. Even if you lack prior experience in the robotics industry, your exceptional software development skills, unyielding drive, and curiosity, along with your comfort in testing code on electromechanical systems, may make you an ideal candidate.Your ResponsibilitiesQuickly produce clean, maintainable code to enhance robot capabilities and interactions.Create new software systems for evaluating, monitoring, and logging robot performance.Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system-level issues on actual hardware.Assist in the integration, bring-up, and calibration of new sensors, actuators, and other instrumentation.Develop software tools to facilitate large-scale testing of real robot hardware.Rapidly acclimate to new engineering tasks, collaborating with teams to expedite progress.
