About the Role
As the Founding Drone & Avionics Technician, you will play a pivotal role in preparing our fleet of autonomous drones for flight. Collaborating closely with our engineering team, you will establish a professional-grade avionics workshop, construct harnesses, and develop integration workflows while ensuring all systems are thoroughly tested and flight-certified. Your insights and initiatives will enhance our operational processes and directly contribute to the engineering efforts.
What You’ll Work On
Wire & Build: Assemble and validate prototype avionics units, including harnesses and electrical subsystems for UAVs.
Integrate & Checkout: Install, measure, and confirm the performance of electronics within flight vehicles, ensuring high-quality integration.
Own the Shop: Organize and enhance our avionics workspace by sourcing top-quality tools and developing scalable integration processes.
Improve & Suggest: Identify design weaknesses, recommend enhancements, and expedite our development processes.
Test & Feedback: Assist in qualification and development testing, including vibration and thermal assessments, and provide valuable feedback to the engineering team.
Your Profile
You have completed a technical apprenticeship or training in a relevant field, such as Fluggeräteelektroniker, Elektroniker, or possess EASA certification.
You possess 3+ years of hands-on experience in assembling wiring harnesses and avionics systems.
